Review on 🌬️ Noctua 5V NF-A14 Premium Quiet Fan with USB Power Adaptor Cable, 3-Pin Version (140mm, Brown) by Eliot Wahl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Premium fans are best for internal components

Noctua fans are expensive and do not command this price as they are anything but premium products. Even though their two-tone color scheme doesn't go with anything in my system, I consider the contrast of brown and black a badge of honor, like, I've got the best! I really have to question the reviews that urge any Noctua fan to be boisterous. I have their 200mm fans, both 12 volt and 5 volt, and they are both quieter than any other fan I have had. Thermaltake, CoolerMaster and Corsair are good fans, but Noctua beats them all in my opinion. Unless they actually have a faulty fan, I suspect whatever noise people are getting is due to improper airflow in the case and/or being too close to the devices making the noise. So now I have a Noctua 140mm, and while surprisingly it's a bit louder than the 200s, I certainly don't hear the roaring jets or the roar of the engines. I wish Revain would still allow comments because a review with a picture of the dB reading is ridiculous. Put a running fan on a table and sure enough it will be noisy.
