Identical to the original. I don't know if TYC was Toyota's OEM for the 2016 Prius, but it very well could be. TYC had one of the best prices for a cabin filter change and also looked very similar to the original so I took the risk and it was worth it. I think you are always better off buying a good enough cabin filter at a good price and changing it often so the fan has less airflow resistance. It's also easy to watch any of the YouTube videos on how to change the cabin air filter as no additional tools are required.
