This blanket is nice and soft. It is heavy than I thought. There is no funny smell at all but I washed it before the first use. It is suitable for summer use. The size that I bought is perfect for a single person. The cool touch side is smooth and cool, especially in a room with AC. I notice other reviewers complained that this blanket is not cool at all in hot weather. It is true but also makes sense. Blankets are not AC and do not generate coolness itself. However, this blanket does feel much cooler than a normal blanket when you touch the cool side. I highly recommend this item. Hope this review is helpful to future buyers.
