I bought this inflatable screen for my family's fall evening entertainment. After inflating and using, I wonder why I didn't buy earlier for the summer too. Now projectors and screens are very popular. All my teens even put them on their Christmas lists! I think I'll give myself a little break too because in midsummer we have a place where you can watch movies on a huge screen. It is almost a 45 minute drive and difficult to drive at night with sleepy children. I definitely plan on using this inflatable screen next summer instead of going that far. That saves money and nerves! Anyway, so I wanted to see if I could inflate and install this movie screen myself before asking for an extra hand. Good news, you can! The instructions were easy to follow and it's only 3 steps. Take it out, attach it to the screen and inflate it. Marking the screen frame is easy. Clips or buckles are located around the perimeter. The white screen has a recording end buckle. I didn't adjust the tightness until it was fully set. I don't think this would be a good idea as it could pull on your buckles and potentially break the screen unnecessarily. I then plugged the extension cord into an outlet because I don't have a handy external outlet. As soon as I connected the fan cord to the extension cord, it started to inflate. If anyone has these fun inflatable Christmas toys, it's the same. Within minutes the screen exploded. I helped him a little along the way and untied a few corners while he was pouting. I think the air pressure will just push them out, but it only took a few seconds. The fan is in the display frame and base, so it also adds extra weight. Just make sure the blower can get airborne when inflating. After it was inflated I tightened any screen buckles that were lost before setting it upright. If you were taller you could probably do most of these with the screen upright, but then again I found it easier to work around the perimeter of the screen when it was on the floor. At this point, a person can easily tip it up. There are fairleads and pegs in the package so I would use those. I almost feel like they aren't needed on a calm summer night, it really depends on your weather and wind conditions. I used a rubber mallet and the stakes were lightly driven into the ground. It is a very good size and the material is durable. It even comes with fixes if your frame has an accident. If it does get wet from use, as it often happens in the evenings, I just let mine dry before packing it up. I was pleased with the performance of the blower and the ability to run continuously with no issues. The fan motor is not noisy and does not interfere with listening to the movie. It doesn't look like a generator at all. Personally, I wasn't sure what to expect in that regard. In terms of storage, I bought a large 30 gallon bag. Honestly, I think you can get away with a smaller bag, but I keep everything for myself, including a rubber mallet (I bought an extra one to keep in the box) and a long extension cord, so I found that to be the easiest. It's also convenient because I don't have to make multiple trips around the yard. I just take my bag to my seat and literally everything is there. Oh, and for storage, don't forget to fold the screen white side in so it doesn't get dirty. Should it get dirty, you can of course wipe it down with a damp, clean cloth (personal experience).
