I've had several of these over the past few years. The service life of the camera or the associated pigtail at the end of the camera is 6-12 months. Do not make your setup permanent as you will need to replace the camera regularly. However, the long wire coming from the screen is pretty durable. The camera is pretty good when working properly. Get the cheapest option for these license plate cameras because if you spend more you get nothing. These are all the same cheap POS terminals.
