Review on Timibis 6-Pack 4-Pole 3.5mm Male Repair Headphone Stereo Jack Plug - Metal Audio Soldering & Spring Connector Adaptor Tool by Gina Cravalho

I have experience with SMD soldering less than 0.5mm pitch. Despite this experience, I have found trying to fix my 8 year old headphones unsuccessful even with these connectors. The connectors themselves are fine, seem to be of acceptable quality, but if anyone else is trying to fix this guy I'd really suggest just buying another pair of headphones. Headphone wires are mostly stranded copper (usually around 6-7 strands) made up of really (90AWG?) small individual wires. The location of the soldering points is also quite narrow, which leads to short circuits. , there's nothing serious about these connectors, but actually making them useful is another story.
