While not expensive, I believe additional filtration may be required for truly clean water. I checked the pH and ppm and they weren't much better than the tap water he was filtering. It certainly comes last when compared to Signature's cheap spring water, Signature's filtered drinking water, and Deer Park. Tap water 151 ppm, 748 pH. After being filtered with this system, the water was 120 ppm and a pH of 820! I checked and checked again. Again and again. Wildlife Park 90 ppm, 683 pH. Signature Spring 32ppm, 793pH. Signature purified 22 ppm, 592 pH. The weird thing is that it tastes better than tap water but about the same as the others. I think there are more variables to flavor than ppm and pH. Generally I leave and use for cooking. The crane is also very short.
