Review on Gaur Gold Bi Fold Wallet Minimalist by Marklen Baeskens

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A GOOD TICKET BUT THE PROPORTIONS ARE SLIGHTLY HIGH FOR THE UNITED STATES NOTES

The quality of this wallet seems to be quite high. The leather feels excellent and is slightly oily; The stitching is good if not perfect and the profile is thin enough despite the dual bill pocket design. All in all, there's a lot about this wallet that deserves praise. He is pictured with an Ashland wallet which he was due to replace but will not replace. The reason for this is primarily because it appears to have been made for countries that issue high denomination notes, such as Hong Kong (earlier?), the UK and I believe Japan. These old style banknotes would fit very nicely in this tall purse. It seems that this wallet would be better than either a smaller wallet with two compartments or a wallet of the same height with only a bill compartment. However, the extra height means it has a total of 8 slots for credit card sized items. This is an unusual luxury that will surely do the deal for those of us who carry around a lot of plastic. This relatively well made wallet has four stars for functionality, four stars for workmanship, three stars for design, three stars for materials and four stars for looks. .3.5 stars and recommended with reservations.
