Review on FreedConn Motorcycle Bluetooth 5.0 T-COMVB Helmet Headset For 2-3 Riders Pairing, 800M Range Music Sharing With Changeable Hard/Soft Microphone (2 Pack) by Robert Pierce

Revainrating 2 out of 5

First bluetooth system

This is the first intercom system I've ever purchased. The installation was easy enough. Placing the speakers behind the padding was semi difficult, but that is a case by case basis. My wife loves being able to talk during our long rides together. The unit has some static when using the intercom, but not when using bluetooth to my phone with music. The brackets don't tighten up enough on the helmet, so sometimes the units can slide off if you bump them. So will probably use 3M tape to hold them in place. The charging cable is not standard. So pick up a few extra cables just in case. All in all, this is a good purchase for the price and I'm happy with the product. Time will tell how long they last.*UPDATE*Units now, alternatively, beep twice every minute or so. Sometimes mine will beep twice every minute, then the next time we power them back on it will be my second set that begins beeping twice every minute. This is even after fully charging the units.Very VERY annoying. Also, they state that you can listen to music and either talk on the phone or intercom at the same time. Not true. You either get phone/intercom or music, not both. If there's a way to do it, its not in the instructions.Really wanted to give this a better rating. Sadly I cannot presently.

Pros
  • My dad and I absolutely love these! But mine randomly just shuts off? Is there anyway to replace it?
Cons
  • The microphone may be too sensitive, picking up background noise
