Excellent pressure cooker. Easy to use. This pressure cooker is clearly very well made and I love the fact that it has a stainless steel inner bowl instead of non-stick Teflon. At this introductory price you can buy 2 and still have money left over compared to buying the most popular brand here at Revain. Very happy Update 05/16/2015 After using this pressure cooker at least 3 times a week it still works great. I particularly like the function of the egg. 3 minutes on high power allows you to cook hard-boiled eggs with the yellowest yolk and hardened but tender protein. No dark sulfur rings and best of all they are so easy to make. I've also used the pot-in-pot technique to cook stew and oatmeal dishes right in a serving bowl (basically using a pressure cooker as a high pressure steamer) and they came out perfect too. This method allows me to cook different dishes one after the other and reduces the amount of dishes that need to be washed. :) One of the great things about this electric pressure cooker is that it's completely silent when cooking and emits virtually no steam, so your home won't be filled with the smell of your food. What can not be said about the pressure cooker on the stovetop or slow cooker. This pressure cooker should not be used as a can as the pressure changes during the cooking process. She's not meant for that. I am very happy with the initial quality of this pressure cooker and I hope it will last. Update 7-6-2015 I made yoghurt with it. It can hold 7 8 ounce cans. I just mix store bought yogurt and milk and pour the mixture into glasses. Add warm water to the saucepan until it almost reaches the level of the milk in the glass. After 12 hours I have really delicious homemade yoghurt. Much cheaper than buying yogurt all the time and I know it's additive free. :) Updated 6/29/2016 This print still works great. The average usage can be 3 times a week. I bought an extra inner bowl and silicone ring so I can separate meat dishes from non-meat dishes without affecting flavors/smells. I also use the inner bowl directly on my gas stove to sear meat/vegetables before using the pressure cooker for stews or soups etc. I also use the inner bowl like a regular 6 quart saucepan on my stovetop. I hardly ever use my pressure cooker on the stove since I got it because I don't have to babysit this thing while it cooks.
