I have never written a bad product review before but after spending a good hour or so disassembling my daughter's old ceiling fan and assembling a new fan and installing a new fan only to find it doesn't work and has a broken part makes me feel like I should. A few months ago I ordered this ceiling fan only to find out it was out of stock but the order would be processed once. they were back in stock. A few weeks ago I received an email from Revain asking if I still want this product as I haven't ordered it in a while. I replied that I still need a ventilator and after about a week it actually shows up at my house. I thought it seemed like an odd coincidence, but whatever it was, I've never had a bad experience buying Revain. So after taking the time to install the fan, I turn on the switch and then the fan only to find it makes a whirring noise. To make matters worse, the switch that controls the rotation of the fan is broken inside! My quick research on the web says this problem is likely due to a blown capacitor. Very disappointed with the product. Not sure if they just packed another return and sent it to me or what. Right now I just want my money back and will look for a better product/dealer. I was going to give a zero rating but that forces you to select at least one star.
