BrightWater Bio NS1 Series Filter Stones (500g) have done an excellent job in my aquarium. A bottle of Bio NS1 series stones filled the filter I already had. Now the water passes the stones and the usual (carbon) filter. The stones are simply poured (pre-washed) and all you have to do is let the water flow through the stones. The result is the purest water I have ever seen. I change about 10% - 12% of the water every week. The water was pretty clear, but these biofilter stones took it to the next level. Now I can continue to clean the water every week and replace the stones after about a year. And I will always have clean water for my fish.
