You may or may not know that gloves can easily cost a fortune. But if you're smart, you won't pay two hundred or more for a pair of gloves. These gloves are affordable which is great for those of us on low incomes. I live in the Pacific Northwest, unlike you southerners, we get cold in the winter. I have a summer pair of Milwaukee leather gloves with perforations that allow them to breathe, great for summer but not winter. I need thermal insulation so I decided to try this one. These are full sleeve gloves, leather construction and Velcro wrist straps. The glove is made to be worn over a jacket cuff to keep out the cold and I can attest that it works! Additionally, these gloves have a Thinsulate lining to keep my hands warm and after riding a few miles in 40°F I can confirm that the Thinsulate material keeps my hands and fingers warm. Even if I fall off my scooter, the leather construction should offer protection from chafing on the tarmac. I wanted to say thank you to all the reviewers who advised me that as they are large we should go down a size. I can confirm these gloves are great. I'm size XL but I ordered LARGE and they fit perfectly! So far I love these gloves and give them 5 stars out of 5!
