
I wanted to use this for making small frozen foods so I don't have to wait for my oven to heat up for something small. Frozen taquitos have started to burn at the ends but the center is still cold. Frozen fish fingers took much longer to cook than in the oven and never crisped up on the outside. I tried making chilled Toll House cookie dough but it was burnt (BLACK!) on the bottom and not brown on top. Tried to heat croissants but they burn on top and don't heat up to the end. Also, the bottom of the pan is ribbed so I had to buy a small flat baking sheet to make the cookies so that was a waste of time too. I had high hopes but it's really useless to me. It can make a basic toast (haven't tried it yet) but it's too big on my table to be a toaster. Also note that the crumb tray cannot be removed for cleaning. I figured I could live with it if I could make something other than toast.
