It is simple and beautiful. I have a charger so I can recycle my AAs. I love being able to turn them on with the green button - then dial the number 2 for two hours or 4 for four hours. Then every night - at the same time - they turn on automatically for that time. What a great idea. It's the perfect soothing night light for me, and I'm getting old. It would be wonderful and magical for any child. Use it on the dining table for a romantic dinner. I bought another strand and let them run along the edge of my tiled tub - so relaxing - nothing better - put them on tables at a wedding, prom or restaurant for special effect.
