I stopped using regular deodorants because I felt they darkened my armpits. I've tried other "natural deodorants" but they didn't work for me. I used powdered potassium alum and it worked so I used it for a while but really didn't like the way the powder ended up all over and on my clothes. My mom told me about Crystal so I bought it and it worked great for me! I smell nothing, there are no marks or stains on anything. Here's a tip: always wipe it off after running it over each armpit. If you don't do this, the bacteria present in your armpit (even if it's clean or freshly washed) will remain on the crystal and likely multiply, and then you'll even smell the BO on the crystal and worse, you'll apply it. back on the armpit every time and it starts to stop working properly. But once I started wiping it down after each use there was no problem.
