Don't give it to your dog. I started giving my dog Beneful wet food about 6 months ago. Over the past few months, my dog has had numerous gastrointestinal problems. Vomiting and diarrhea about once a week. I have taken my dog to the vet about 6 times. She suddenly develops kidney failure and high blood pressure. She had to take medication for both and keep her body from losing protein. Then 6 months after I gave it to my dog my friend came over and I showed her around my new pantry and she was shocked when she saw the dog food. She warned me not to give her a benefit because his dog had died of liver cancer. Later that night my dog had diarrhea and vomited all night. Suddenly everything clicked. My dog's liver and kidney function have always been normal, and in the last few months he suddenly went into kidney failure. When I checked online all the warnings were there. I was so angry.
