After Samsung replaced the notches on the filter, the original Samsung filter doesn't fit in my fridge. It's unbelievable, but it's true. Samsung changed the design of the refrigerator filter connector, so you can no longer use the original Samsung filter for the 10-year-old RF268BPN refrigerator. This fits with no modifications.

Unfortunately did not fit my Samsung RS2556SH although these are marked as spare parts DA29-00003G. They fit but was really hard to pick up and put in and although it sounded safe and I could hear the water splashing and filling... it was dripping everywhere.
