It does what it's supposed to do at a reasonable price

The price itself was better than most NVMe M.2 cases and it does exactly what is advertised. I bought this case to help a friend migrate their current NVMe M.2 to this one. He switched from the cheaper standard brand to the Crucial brand. Acronis for Crucial could not identify the drive as a Crucial drive. I'm not sure if it was the case, but the problem persisted. We had to use another program to do this task. The material seems to be cheaper overall. The front bezel that houses the USB Type-C port is easily removed when not screwed down. The mechanism for holding the disc is cheaper and seems poorly designed as you have to unscrew the fastener every time and there is no need to directly secure the disc. The text on the side of the case feels gaudy and would be better off without it. I don't think the vents on the side of the case can do anything if there is no ventilation. Overall it does what it needs to do at a lower price point at the time ($35.99) but I think it's going to be dated. As more cases are released and NVMe M.2 becomes more and more the default among users.
