Review on SMSL SA 36A Pro TPA TA AMP HIFI Big Power Digital Integrated Tripath Stereo Amplifier With 12V 3 by Will Ridpath

I wish Revain had a 4 1/2 star rating. There is only one downside to this mini amp, in my opinion - and a small one, even based on a test sample. I use it on a pair of bedroom speakers (an insatiable 6" HiVi paired with equally insatiable super tweeters) and in this micro world it only scores about an eight on bass. The mids are powerful and harmonious, and the tweets sing positively. The bass is by no means weak, but it is relatively unbalanced across the frequency range. Is my speaker to blame? Maybe. Is my Bluetooth adapter to blame? Also possible. I have a new project "in brackets" as I write. I will continue to advise. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend it. PS - I love the fact that this amp has absolutely no hiss or hum when unassigned. I mostly listen at night when I go to bed and when my TV is off it makes no sound at all. It doesn't crackle when switched on or off, even at high volume. Good, that.
