Aesthetically beautiful. I'm not entirely sure why it gets such good reviews, however, as this device wasn't as quiet compared to the much cheaper devices I've tested. For about the same price you can get much more efficient devices. At 4 and 5 speeds you can definitely hear it. When we first got it I always thought I left the bathroom fan on. It made the expected swirling sound of air rushing by, but also had a quieter rumble that was a bit distracting. You should also keep this device 1-2 feet away from the wall. The exhaust is up, but the air doesn't go straight up and out. In addition, at a 45-degree angle that also dumps to the left (rather than straight up as advertised). The pollution sensor looks decent. Although often at level "2", even if nothing happened in the room. Another thing I noticed in manual mode or when pressing the touch button to wake up the device is that the fan periodically speeds up and returns to the set speed. Not a major issue, but I felt the build quality was lower. The biggest downside now is the negative ion generator, which I decided to try out one afternoon by turning it on and setting the device to the highest setting. After 30 minutes I had to leave the apartment for several hours because of breathing problems. Maybe weighing the dust particles will help, but it's clear that the ozone this device produces is not intended for inhalation. I understand why they are banned in several states and the need for a website disclaimer. Of course you can choose not to, but why possibly pay more for something useless and potentially dangerous? It's probably best not to take chances when it comes to your own health.
