I have recently started sewing and hand cutting things. I saw my mom use a disc cutter to cut a lot of her stuff, and much faster than I could with scissors, so I knew I needed to invest in a disc cutter. I really like this disc cutter because it fits my hand well and doesn't cramp my hand as easily as some others. In addition, the weight distribution is perfect. The mass of the load is in my head, helping me to keep the trajectory straight and use less effort. There are handles that my thumb rests on and the lever that pushes the blade out has a natural feel. There is also rubber on the outside of the handle for grip and comfort. This circular knife has a locking mechanism so the blade cannot be ejected when locked. Last but not least, it comes with extra blades so I don't have to buy new ones just yet. It has 2 curved blades which I really had no reason to use, 1 perforated blade which is pretty neat to use and 4 straight blades on top of what's already inside. All blades are well protected in a lockable sheath. I definitely recommend this rotation tool. It's definitely better than some of my mom's, to the point where she tried to kidnap mine! and 4 straight blades, not counting what's already inside.
