Review on 🧻 Scott Essential Multifold Paper Towels (01804): Fast-Drying Absorbency in White | 16 Packs/Case, 250 Towels/Pack by Mark Greenwood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comparison of 3 Scott towels - 01840, 01801 and 01804 and earlier with Georgia-Pacific

Updated review of 3 Scott towels: Over time I have had 3 different versions of Scott paper - Bought multifold towels and I have a pack of each to compare: Scott # 01840, 01801 and 01804. I will transfer this rating to all three products. # 01840 The bag weighs 14 oz. It is stronger/harder and is best for wiping down our work tools. I order it anyway for this purpose. # 01801 The bag weighs 18.5 oz. It doesn't bleach, is thinner as others have noted, but I found it suitable for hand drying and general use. I will continue to use it in the washroom and dining area. # 01804 The bag weighs 13.6 oz. It's thinner and softer than 01804, great for hand drying and general use, but I don't like how it sticks wet - it reminds me of a facial tissue. Of the three, it is best for wiping when stronger than tissue paper is required. I will not order again. First Review: Scott Towels vs. Georgia-Pacific Well, I may not like paper towels, but I use them a lot and really care about how well they work. When comparing Scott Multifold Paper Towel (01804) to Georgia-Pacific Signature 21000 2-Ply Premium Multifold Paper Towel, Scott paper towels perform much better. That means they are better absorbed and stronger. See photos for comparison (sorry they're a bit dark), Scott's towel pack is bigger and stronger; Towel Georgia-Pacific fluffy, ie less dense. Down can fill the box, but it doesn't help absorb water. Pictures: First 3 are GP towel comparisons, last 4 are Scott's 3 towels.
