Review on π¨ 7-Inch Dasco Pro 431-0 Scratch Awl Tool by Sara Adams
A hard metal tool with a blunt tip.
Looks like a solid all-metal tool. No wooden or plastic handle to break. However, the packaged product was not particularly spicy. The tip was flat and about 0.7mm in diameter, not pointed as shown in the Revain photo. (See my photos). My old souvenir awl from the 1939 World's Fair is sharper than this tool. Dasco's awl can be sharpened with a file, but I expected a sharp tool from the start.
