This is the best shaver I have ever used. I was wondering if I should buy it because of some Debbie Downer reviews. First off it's the quietest shaver I've ever used, it passed my nose hair test, the cleaning station works great and it's always maxed out at the station. I called Braun and they said leave it plugged in so you don't damage the battery. Don't expect a razor to soften your face like a baby's in one pass, but it will happen with multiple passes. I actually really enjoy using this razor. One thing I noticed is that the razor doesn't come with a plastic foil cap. It comes in a very nice leather case and the razor fits like a glove so either there or at the cleaning station. I'm glad I bought it. I put away my other razors. Extra tip: Braun claims the shaving head has a shelf life of 18 months. I have been using the shaver for 7 months. I just switched to a new head and I can definitely tell the difference. Now he shaves like I expected so plan on changing heads every 6 months!
