In my opinion this is a very good quality ruler and has now become my go-to gauge for very precise woodcuts. If you like splitting atoms, like I sometimes am, the ruler offers both 1/32" and 1/64" increments. The only difficulty is mentally converting these subtle bars into some of the more common ones like fourths and eighths. After a while it becomes second nature. I compared the ruler to a machine ruler and all the lines are there. The numbers on the ruler are small given the subtle gradations. I'm 65 years old so I put on 2.5 reeds for very slim measurements.
