My daughter's only wish for her 10th birthday was a locket. She specifically wanted one that could take two photos. After reading several reviews of various lockets, I settled on this one because (1) it had two pictures on it, (2) it looked like it would last longer (many reviews of others said the clasp broke very quickly) and (3) the price was still realistic for jewelry. I assume my 10 year old will lose weight fairly quickly. I am very happy with this purchase. She got it for her birthday at the end of April and has been wearing it every day since! It was very easy to put the pictures in and they're pinned on all sides so I'm not worried about them falling out like I would with some other styles I've considered. She shows the pictures to everyone she knows, but the clasp still works just as well as it did when I first opened the package. The sizing and style is simple enough to match her casual outfits and doesn't feel too formal or big for a 10-year-old. It's simple, elegant and just what she wanted!
