As long as I like it - Webcam Stands and Mounts

This is intended for use with lightweight cameras but I wanted to try it on my DSLR as I knew my camera might be too heavy for it (this is my own risk and I take responsibility for it). Anyway, this seems to work fine, although I'll be careful as it's somewhat "off-label". The cable is very strong, and the fact that it takes some effort to bend is a good thing - it means it will hold your camera stably in the desired position without "wilting like a wilting flower". . The swivel is flexible and designed for a lighter camera (as the label says) and I can get it to work with my DSLR if I adjust the head and angle of the cable well enough to avoid snagging due to the weight of my camera impede . Although it's designed for webcams, I'm happy with how it works with my DSLR. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy telephoto DSLRs - I think it would be too heavy. I have a Nikon D3400 to give you an idea of the weight of my camera. The only thing I changed was the collar. I glued a piece of neoprene rubber to the round part of the metal yoke so it doesn't cut into what it's pressed against. When you try this DSLR cable, I suggest putting a pad on the table under the camera until you are absolutely 100% sure it will hold your camera. I haven't had this cable long enough to determine its durability, but so far I like it.
