Halved in just 7 months! I installed it in January and today it broke at the base. Not cool. See photos. Does anyone know if there is a guarantee for this? ***UPDATE*** After I posted my two star review, the manufacturer contacted me. I explained the defective product in detail and attached photos. They sent a replacement unit under warranty. I managed to install the replacement unit and I'm back in business. I have increased my rating to 4 stars as they replaced the unit under warranty. But no 5 stars because the device broke from the start. Overall, the company has demonstrated excellent customer service and honored its warranty.
