Based on other reviews, I ordered a MEDIUM. It fit just right, except in the shoulders. I could not full raiae my arms overhead unencumbered. I returned the jacket and reordered a LARGE (which is what I am reviewing). Although it fit a little more loosely in the chest, waist and hips than I wanted, it allows for unencumbered arm movement and therefore is the right size for me.I’m 5’8” 160 lbs size 8 and athletic/competitive athlete so the medium would probably be good for the non-athletic body type or someone without a large chest or who doesn’t have much excess body fat.Super toasty, especially against the chilly 32 degree wind, and the color is a nice dark khaki that will pair well with my neutral wardrobe. I am super pleased with this purchase and their refund and return of the other size. Recommend!UPDATE: I wore this jacket in subzero weather for 3 days in a major snow storm in the mountains. Hauled wood in it. Outhouse necessity. I did NOT get even remotely cold! For the price, this jacket is OUTSTANDING!
