Review on πŸͺ‘ SDADI Kids' Home Store Kitchen Step Stool - Enhanced Safety and Accessibility by Pamela Moody

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's great but lacks a security feature.

. It really fell off the second time we used it! She dropped some snacks and bent down to pick them up and fell to the wooden floor, hitting her back and head. We added tie fabric and raised/lowered her when she steps onto and stands on the stool. I can't believe that a feature like this (closing this gap) isn't provided by default. We believe we have mitigated this issue and are otherwise happy with the stool. My toddler loves to use it! Perfect if you "help" prepare the door and watch us in the kitchen! I'd say it's fairly durable, although I'm wondering if the 'cage' is high enough. My 100th percentile size for a 13 month old seems to fit perfectly. I don't know what will happen in 6 months or in 1 year. In our case, one of the legs of the stool is slightly shorter than the other so it's not 100% balanced, but my kid doesn't seem to be trying to use that and wiggle left and right so I'll leave it at that for now. Edit (5 months later). I'm increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars as the chair has proven useful and reliable. It still confuses me that it's not entirely even. We've recently removed the extra webbing we added to make getting in and out easier - little one is big enough and a lot more careful about what she's doing when she's in her chair.

Pros
  • . Great for me.
Cons
  • . No instructions.
