I'm used to painting my brows with brow gel so I knew what to expect when applying it but I haven't had one that thin Lipstick texture calculated. It's way better than the cheap Sally Hanson I've used. (Although it's good if you're on a tight budget). But this product looks a lot more "natural" because it's thinner so you can actually see the brush strokes and give the illusion of hair. So I'm on the side of the gangsters and I shave off about 90% of my eyebrows and then draw them in by arching my eyebrows a little higher than they naturally grow. Here is a comparison of my old product with my new A. Beverly Hills. The old drugstore brand gave me nice gradients, but was such a thick paste consistency that my brows always came out a little thicker (not necessarily a bad thing, just less variety. The product was too thick). This brow gel with a finer texture gives me the opportunity to achieve finer, more defined brows. Let the photos speak for themselves. The picture of Betty's bangs is from my $8 product and the other is from ABH. Both are good, but one is clearly a lot prettier and more manageable.
