I bought this to attach my digital picture frame to an existing articulating wall mount in my kitchen. That works great. The vesa holes matched my frame perfectly. The existing brackets were flat, so here's what I did: 1) put the included 4 large cap screws into the 'countersunk' holes on the adapter (the large cap screws didn't move, so we could tighten the lock nuts - step 4) 2) We held the ends of the 4 screws while flipping the adapter onto the back of the digital frame 3) used M 4.7 x 10mm screws to attach the adapter to the digital frame (you may need a different size) 4 ) using the washers and locknuts provided, attach the 4 large head screws to the articulating wall mount.
