I wanted to mount a 32 inch Samsung TV to the monitor arm and use it as a second monitor. With this adapter plate I was able to convert a 200 x 200 to a 100 x 100 monitor arm without any problems. Follow the instructions and you will have no problem installing this adapter.

Product was fine and looks solid. Actually it is a steel plate with many holes. The box I received looked like it had been returned by someone else. The product looked good but I noticed that the 3 mounting holes that were supposed to be countersunk weren't there (see picture). It probably doesn't matter much, and if need be I have something to sink it into. However, this is a dumb QA issue.

I managed to get over the large hole size with shims. I would prefer the holes to be smaller than necessary and drill them larger if I had to, or even better have the correct hole sizes. The finish is powder coating with a pleasant texture. Feels high quality. Comes with a decent amount of hardware including gaskets to keep the vents unblocked and still allow heat to escape from the rear.

Holes correctly aligned, easy installation. I had to go to the hardware store to get the right screws for my TV. I don't know who to be disappointed in, Samsung or World Mount who had to run in addition to a hardware store. It's probably Samsung's fault that it's cheap. I recommend finding the right type and length of mounting screw for your TV and measuring the length, including an extra few millimeters for the mounting plate. Also buy washers in case your bolts are too long.

I have several 100x100 Vesa mounts and am using this adapter to connect one of them to a very light 32" 200x200 TV. VESA template. This is a very strong adapter, but the hardware provided is insufficient to attach the adapter to a smaller board. The smallest screw in the kit is VERY inadequate. Any smaller size will work fine. The holes are precisely aligned and fit all points on 75mm, 100mm and 200mm I've tried. I tried it, it's much stronger than other extension models, for example with 4 crosses. It's a flat plate and the screws that attach it to the small side of the adapter go into countersinks to allow flush mounting on either side of the plate. I bought this to attach my digital picture frame to an existing articulating wall mount in my kitchen. That works great. The vesa holes matched my frame perfectly.
