The best knife sharpener I've ever used

This is by far the best knife sharpener compared to others that require the blade to be moved into slots with sloping stones. I used them for some time but got a dull blade after a few days. At first I wanted to replace all my kitchen knives because they couldn't even cut veggies let alone meat. I've seen several knife sharpener videos online and came across wet rocks. After a few hours I decided to invest in one as the price was low. But I have to admit that sharpening a dull knife took some effort - it took me an hour to sharpen the blade to get it into useable condition. It takes a little patience, a little effort and strong hands. This wet stone knife sharpening set comes with a smaller stone block and a larger plate. I've been using this wet stone knife sharpener for a few months now and use the smaller stone to grate the blade for a quick sharpening before using the knife. I'll say it again - this was the best investment I've ever made and I'm very glad I didn't have to change my knives.

Pros
  • Handy knife sharpener: No oil required, best to soak the stone in water for 10-15 minutes before use and they're ready to use. You can always add water when sharpening, with water the lubricating effect of sharpening is great and help you save energy.
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
