This is an air purifier that catches bacteria, dust, etc. without changing filters! It looks pretty good and goes well with the interior of the car, its rubber feet keep it in place, but nothing is included to securely attach it to your car. Opening it to clean isn't very intuitive, but the instructions are well written and you won't break anything as long as you're careful. Collector plates are slightly stronger, but ionization wires are more fragile. There's an automatic cleaning reminder, I'm not sure if it's based on date or cumulative uptime. This is most likely not based on sensor readings as you will need to manually reset the air purifier after cleaning. In terms of cost, this air purifier is quite expensive. But it seems to have a rare quality: it is based on an ionizer and also acts as a filter without the need for replacement filters. Much cheaper small ionizers (under $30) are available that connect the body directly to the cigarette port and release negative ions that bind pollutants and fall to the surface below. Such constructions clean the air and do not accumulate dust inside, leaving, for example, microbes on the surface. Seats/armrests, which may not be desirable. The third option, of course, is air purifiers with disposable filters, the disadvantage of which is the cost and availability of replacement filters. With that in mind, this air purifier offers a unique feature that might justify the price.
