WOW! I read ALL the reviews and looked at this a long time before I bought it. I'm a 100% tomboy and not a girl at all. I have very thick curly hair (see front photo) and it is as dry as a horse's mane. I never style my hair because it takes an hour and a half to two hours between blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron and I'm NOT that girl. Enter this Revlon one step tool.... 1- I've read all the negative reviews and heard my hairdresser warn me about a high setting causing hair breakage - most of the time I use a low setting, one high only on problem areas and then finish a cool shot. (Result in photo #2) 2- I used heat protectant before I started and after I finished I used homemade argan and lavender oil. 3- Smaller strands worked better for me. I clean it after every use as does my comb but I have a TON of hair and I clean my brush and this tool after every use. On average you lose 100 hairs a day and if you only wash your hair 2-3 times a week like I do, you naturally have a lot of hair to comb. I think that keeping it clean helps the dryer continue to perform well without clogging and extends its lifespan. It was wonderful! The only thing I have to do now is find a finishing hairspray to make it last. But I'm sold! I won't do it all the time, but I won't pay $100 more at the bar on special occasions. It was so easy, I expect to do this a few times a month when we go somewhere or something and I want my look to be different than my usual hair that looks like I just got out of bed . I highly recommend this tool, just be careful with high settings.
