I have 2 flat bottoms each with a larger bow deck/seat and I had a non slip material that worked well but held a ton of sand that always got in your will fly face while driving, so I wanted a non-slip surface that I can easily wash the sand off. I was very reluctant to get it, believing that the dog's rough paws and claws would quickly tear it apart. When first installed it had a lot of storage as it was rolled up in the box which made it a bit difficult to install on 1st boot. For the 2nd boat I rolled it out and weighed it down for a few days. I didn't quite trust the glue either, so after cleaning and sanding the deck I used spray glue in addition to peeling and gluing. 3 rides with dogs so far, holds up great, no signs of scrapes or cuts on legs. And it doesn't slip even when wet, I suspect it won't handle mud as well as my old carpet when duck season starts, but it should peel off easily and be fine.
