So we've waited about 3 months to write a solid review. It is great. 1/4 the price of its major competitor but not 1/4 the quality. So far we have done three main river hikes and weekly one-day lake hikes. This material is in good condition! It was so easy to use. Cleans well. This is a survival boat with a lab and two toddlers. Recommend 100 times!

I ordered a couple of these panels to redo the bottom of a Malibu boat after installing them. It looked good but after the sun came out and it was about 80 degrees the whole floor came loose and I had to clean up the old glue for a whole week just to redo it with my own 3M glue spray (green bottle). So if you want to avoid the same hassle, find a decking board without glue! I hope that was helpful.

Started out well until my main center sheet delaminated right down the center around an edge about 30cm long, with both layers separating from the center plastic sheet. Needless to say I'm not sure how long it will last and the bottom was already taped in place so I couldn't remove it. But I have to say I specifically took a red cherry and mopped the floor to make sure the stain didn't eat into it and it went away immediately, tried bleach too and didn't affect at all.

I found this product to be a poor choice for my boat. I've spent a lot of time on this. I found the adhesive on this material to look like some kind of double sided tape. It detaches from the rubber, can remain on the substrate, but detaches from the rubber. the reason may be that under the influence of the sun it expands and contracts so much that it breaks off. Foam planks are good on their own, but the peeling and sticking backing is terrible, even with very careful installation. Before covering the deck, it was thoroughly cleaned according to the instructions. The deck was completely dry and the eva panels were pressed in place with a roller. I have 2 flat bottoms each with a larger bow deck/seat and I had a non slip material that worked well but held a ton of sand that always got in your will fly face while driving, so I wanted a non-slip surface that I can easily wash the sand off. I was very reluctant to get it, believing that the dog's rough paws and claws would quickly tear it apart. However, I did NOT just use the backing glue that came with the kit, I ordered a can of 3M glue but spent some time making 2 templates out of cardboard and noting how the lines went, if the edges were curved, etc. , and mirrored the right 2 sections to the left 2.
