Installed on my 2011 VN1700 Classic. Installation was easy with the universal plug and play wiring harness (recommended) as using 2 OEM wires would not be a suitable power and grounding source for this horn. If you buy a universal plug n play wiring harness, it literally plugs right into this horn and you route the power wires over the cylinder heads and secure them under the gas tank to keep them from hanging down. I used the stock horn bracket so I can mount this horn the way it should be and have enough clearance so the forks don't interfere with it on wide turns. You want to make sure that horn doesn't interfere with the steering. The bolt it comes with is not stainless steel, so it will rust over time, so I put dielectric grease on the bolt after tightening it so the algae would protect it from corrosion. Dielectric grease is also applied to both fittings. The chrome plated case is made of plastic so is not durable and can crack if dropped which is definitely a big improvement over the standard horn.
