Good shower head but the hose broke after 3 months

This shower head has only 3 jet types: pulsating massage, wide weak jet and narrower stronger jet. The strong jet hurts your face a bit, but is perfect for rinsing out your hair. Saving water is just a trickle massage. There is also a combination of light and strong jet, which is the most gentle, and a combination of wide jet and massage. When switching from massage mode to water saving mode, the massage will gradually weaken, allowing you to adjust the strength of the massage. The 6 massage jets are designed to converge about 14 inches from the head, creating a powerful impact at a small point. Massage is a real pulsating mechanism. You can hear it spinning and the jets turn on and off as it spins, creating higher pressure than any steady stream. My previous shower head was an old WaterPik with 3 groups of massage jets and an almost spherical head that has been around for decades. Compared to him, this head massage is not as strong, but faster. You can increase the strength of the massage by blocking one of the 6 jets with a drop of hot glue. Blocking multiple nozzles can sometimes prevent it from spinning. I ran out of hot water quicker than the WaterPik so I think the flow rate is faster. I removed the flow restrictors from both. Removing the flow restrictor is more difficult than the instructions say. I couldn't get it out with needle nose pliers. I had to pry it off with a very small screwdriver. I damaged the sealing lip and had to shave it off with a razor blade. The best way is to use pliers to make a small hook out of a large paper clip to pull out the limiter. There's a small white X-shaped piece that slides out easily, but the stopper underneath snaps firmly into place. Installation was pretty easy. I didn't use teflon tape and tried not to twist the plastic parts. I used a thinner shim on the main port and both shims on either end of the hose. There were no leaks when tightening by hand. The hose is surprisingly flexible, more like a nylon rope than a hose, much more flexible than the WaterPik. It remains flexible under pressure. The selector clicks clearly in every setting and is quite easy to operate with one hand. I will update this review when I know how it is handling my hard water. I will also report any breakage or leaks. UPDATE: After only 3 months the hose is leaking badly. This is not an accessory. The hose has a hole. No visible damage, hasn't been dropped or pulled. Based on many product reviews, none of these ultra-flexible, metal-jacketed hoses last long. They all use the same 1/2 inch fittings and there are many replacement hoses available. I can use a hard plastic hose from my old WaterPik showerhead that was about 15 years old.
