Review on OXO Good Grips Box Grater by Josh Schaefer

Good cheese grater. The cup on the bottom is amazing and the fact that it even comes with a lid is just clever - good move OXO. We've had ours for almost 4 months now and it's still incredibly sharp, I've even cut myself a few times so be careful with that! As much as I like it, there are a few downsides: 1. You have to grate the plate or cutting board, whatever you grate isn't well contained and a good portion comes out around what you grate. I don't remember this happening on our last grater, it's pretty messy and a bit annoying.2. The measuring cup is probably my favorite part of this product, but I dropped it a few weeks after purchasing it and it cracked right away. We have hard floors, but it's just regular vinyl, it's not very hard. In my opinion it should have been a bit more stable. It can still be used, so it's not a big deal. It's not perfect, but the measuring cup makes it a winner. Personally, if I could go back, I'd go with the more expensive version, but I'd still recommend this one.
