You will never find anything like it again.

I bought this grater almost 8 years ago. It is used at least three times a week. We grate vegetables, cheese, coconut and some other products. This grater is like new and retains its sharpness even after so many years. The design is superb, there is not a single dent on the grater after so many years of use. If you need a grater, this is what you need. The grater comes with a plastic container to catch items while grating. It was in no way as durable or as useful as a grater, and I suspect it…

Another great OXO product!

We don't like anything about this grater! I need a wider/softer grip for something like this and once again OXO came to the rescue. The handle is comfortable to grip and curved enough for a comfortable hold. The rim around the bottom is made of the same material, making it sturdy and helping it stay in place during use. All sides of the grate are sharp enough to make the grate easy. A selling point was the small box that was included; perfect for grating fresh parmesan that I keep in the…

It does a decent job with mozzarella cheese.

Bought this mozzarella grater for pizza. Mozzarella is soft and fibrous and tends to crumble and grate poorly. I figured I'd try freezing a piece of cheese if it crumbles rather than grates. To my delight and surprise, the mozzarella grated beautifully. You don't get 100% cheese in an 8 ounce container. I was delighted that a full container left less than a tablespoon of cheese on my cutting board. The container fits snugly on a grater and has a lid so it can be stored in the fridge. During…

Great basic kitchen tool

I didn't expect to enjoy this OXO grater as much as I did. OXO is known for their quality products and this one doesn't disappoint. First, this grater has a slim profile, making it easier to store. The most commonly used blades, coarse and medium, have wider front and back sides. Less commonly used thin and cutting surfaces are narrower and located on the sides. This is a durable item. The four cutting surfaces are made of durable stainless steel and the cutting surfaces are very sharp. The…

Very spicy, love the cup underneath.

Good cheese grater. The cup on the bottom is amazing and the fact that it even comes with a lid is just clever - good move OXO. We've had ours for almost 4 months now and it's still incredibly sharp, I've even cut myself a few times so be careful with that! As much as I like it, there are a few downsides: 1. You have to grate the plate or cutting board, whatever you grate isn't well contained and a good portion comes out around what you grate. I don't remember this happening on our last grater,

You were so generous. Somehow after 35 years

I have a problem with buying hamsters. I literally used the parental grater I was given when I went to college. As housewarming gifts, my parents gave me a grater and a 32-ounce can of Dinty Moore stew. You were so generous. Somehow 35 years later I decided it was time for a change and since I can't refuse anything my wife purposely hid the grater somewhere in my kitchen. I need my grater. It does so many great things, like tearing your fingertips off when you try to use a side with a single…
