Review on OXO Good Grips Box Grater by Michael Pickering

I didn't expect to enjoy this OXO grater as much as I did. OXO is known for their quality products and this one doesn't disappoint. First, this grater has a slim profile, making it easier to store. The most commonly used blades, coarse and medium, have wider front and back sides. Less commonly used thin and cutting surfaces are narrower and located on the sides. This is a durable item. The four cutting surfaces are made of durable stainless steel and the cutting surfaces are very sharp. The handle is made of plastic with a rubberized anti-slip pad. The underside is rubberized and the grater holds securely on the worktop or cutting board. There is a container box with dimensions printed on the side and a removable lid that fits into the bottom of the grater. This allows you to grate up to a cup of food directly into the container. I thought it was a trick but I find it quite useful because it contains and measures the food at the same time. The grater and container can be cleaned in the dishwasher on the top shelf. Made in China.
