Hopefully this holds up as the rest of the strap looks ok. I like the sewn-in rubber insert.
I had the same problem as many others - when I first used the strap to extend the awning the strap broke out of the plastic slot on the locking bar. I had to cut the broken plastic slot and slip the spool end of the strap over part of the bar to rewind it. Hopefully this holds up as the rest of the strap looks ok. I also like the rubber insert sewn into the loop. I have purchased many different Camco products and I like their quality and price. Everything exceeded my expectations except this one.
