Review on Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Olive) by Robert Layne

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good bag needs an update

This bag has become my favorite bag to take with me everywhere. It holds my camera (D90) with a 16-85 lens attached and has a 4 pocket insert where I carry 2-3 extra lenses and an SB600 flash. There is also a large zipped front pocket for various items, a back welt pocket for thin items such as manuals etc. and a zipped pocket in the flap. I configured it with an insert on one end of the bag and I have enough room for my camera with a lens attached to the other end. I find the bag durable, well constructed and easy to carry. I added a shoulder pad for the postman to the carry strap to make it more comfortable. My biggest and only complaint, as mentioned in other reviews, is the poorly designed, awkward metal clips for closing the lid. I would have preferred a zipper. Obviously Domke designers don't read these reviews as this was a common complaint about Domke bags and that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But it's not a deal breaker and I wholeheartedly recommend this bag.
