I buy it for my diamond painting. It's working quite well so far. Unlike other copy trays, it comes without staples and magnet, but has a groove that ensures A4 paper fits perfectly. I have an old notebook that needs 2 clips to hold the paper in place. I need to move the clamps while working on the top of the paper. This one saved me a lot of time due to the groove design. It has three levels of brightness. It's entirely up to your eyes, but I prefer the lightest for tracing and the second level for diamond painting. It requires 3 AA batteries, and it is easy to adjust with a screwdriver in the box. There is not much difference between cord and battery powered. The battery power makes it drinkable so I can work on my diamond painting wherever I want. Looks like 3 AA batteries could last for months.
