It's always hard to tell if a plastic jar is what you're hoping for just from the listing on Revain but I'm really glad I took a chance am on these. Now I have bought a set of 4 large containers and also a set of 8 medium ones. Both sets exceeded my expectations. They aren't very cheap so I was hoping they would be on par with Rubbermaid's prettier containers, but they are much better. The plastic is thick and strong, and it's not the kind of hard plastic that breaks when dropped. One of the things I really like is that the rubber seal pops out, which is a turn on when cleaning and drying. Two medium-sized containers fit together on our pantry shelf. Large containers are big enough for 5 pounds of flour. Medium is great for sugar and brown sugar or about 3-4 packets of dried beans or rice. I would definitely buy again.
