The mattes are very good, the shimmers are not so good.

My palette arrived with Shade 6 broken (Revain's crappy wrapping job) so I had fun cleaning it up. Shimmery blue color (color 5) is crap. Even when applied with a finger or a wet brush, the color hardly comes off. I also liked color 8 a lot. The matte shades are well pigmented and easy to blend. There is a healthy amount of rainfall. Large pots with transitional colors are good. It's an affordable palette and would probably be good for those looking to experiment with makeup.
