If you are looking for a great lighted air vent for your aquarium then look no further and buy this one. Well if you are reading this you probably want to do your research before you buy something like me. I overdid it with my research and it took me 4 days to realize that this was my ideal fit. I bought this during the Covid-19 pandemic. When I checked out I was told my main delivery would take approximately 2 weeks due to priority supplies (such as masks, gloves, sanitizer and toilet paper during this time). I was upset at first, but I was still willing to wait. It got to me in 2 days! I was very happy and followed the directions to run it in my 30 gallon tank. I cleaned it under tap water and then placed it in a bowl of aquarium water for about 10 minutes. After that I connected my airline to it and put it in my tank. I left it in the tank for about 30-45 minutes to make sure it was ready to go. As soon as I turned on the air pump (I bought the air pump and air line hose separately) it started throwing tons of very small bubbles. It helps oxygenate the water and looks great doing it. It has a great array of LEDs that you can change with the remote control. This was a huge benefit for me as most other products would change colors automatically without your control. You can change the colors, darken or lighten them and choose between 3 different settings such as dithering, fading and strobe. I placed this underneath the large volcano ornament I added and it looks amazing! I would definitely recommend buying it if you are looking for a round air stone that creates lots of little bubbles with great colors and settings that you can control yourself.
